GEMÜ offers a range of conventional electrical position indicators that have positive direct connection to the valve actuator spindle. Switch concepts include SPDT mechanical Micro Switches, 3-wire proximity switches and NAMUR type Intrinsically Safe sensors. Switch housings are corrosion resistant polymer rated as IP65 and are suitable for travel up to 70 mm. Settings are adjusted by threaded spindles. Cable gland electrical entry is standard but alternate connectors are optional. The switch housing may be rotated through 360 degrees.
GEMÜ programmable electrical position indicators feature a continuous analog travel sensor together with microprocessor controlled set point determination that assures consistent precise setting, repeatability and reliability. The housing base may be either corrosion resistant polymer or stainless steel, rated to IP 65. Optional features include remote programming and fieldbus compatibility.
The GEMÜ Combi Switchbox features a 3/2 pilot valve integrated with solid-state switches in a common enclosure. A continuous analog travel sensor together with microprocessor controlled set point determination assures consistent precise setting, repeatability and reliability. Local or remote programming and diagnostic data are standard in a highly reliable device that is suitable for either linear or rotary valve actuation. Stroke lengths up to 70 mm are offered in a very compact profile. 24 VDC, AS-interface and DeviceNet versions are available.
